It follows the story of an urban Tripp, who really deserves the name, go to a town that can always just kind of, you should: Istanbul!
Heidi had me at some point asked if I would not like to drive with her to Istanbul to its former Mitbewoher Tobi and his girlfriend, Nettie: to visit)? I did not hesitate - not really - because I wanted to go there! So we made
on Thursday evening after a bus on the way to Istanbul ... The bus came to the delight of all passengers (except us) an incredibly poor copy of Gladiator (in Bulgarian - what else, the tone was either not there or a nearly tore the ear drum ...) and there were about 30 degree in this vehicle, otherwise the journey was ok. Of course, you reach the Turkish border at night to 1 if you're just sleeping - logical. Except for Heidi and me seemed to disturb but not because we were the only passengers who wanted to try at least to sleep. All other never came to the idea of \u200b\u200bclosing her eyes. An old man sitting on the other side of the Busganges it were next to me spent the entire trip so focused to face the street - from the 5th Series ...
at the border provided Heidi and I went for the amusement of fellow passengers as we do not get it, on which side of the table, we should position ourselves for the "baggage-Control" ...

morning came at 6:15 so we will at Istanbul bus station. I did not think that it is possible, but is actually bigger than the bus station in Buenos Aires! He even has several Floors ... Eventually we found an ATM machine and then the Metro and Heidi, thank also the way to the center. :) There we got ourselves in a subdivision a Turkish coffee and joined us for the anglers on the bridge to watch the sunrise over the Bospsrus - a more than worthy beginning for our stay in this city!
Then we reached some point Tobi and Netti, and there was first a delicious breakfast and more coffee - Heidi and I drank that day very much coffee ... :)
noon then began the great sightseeing tour, but with limitations, partly because it was raining pretty doll ... So we started with the Topkapi Palace - is a huge area with many buildings in which Sultan plus the various Annex lived and ruled.
here are some impressions ...
The entrance to the palace
view of the rainy courtyard ...
tourism on the bar:) (Later that day we also joined us briefly to)
In the private area of the Sultan
And a picture of Flori and his fellow students;)
With the palace was of course only the beginning of my long list of processed, which I had previously collected on the Internet - Heidi was already two times in Istanbul, and had therefore not quite as many tour requests ... that she bore with great patience, my. And then what followed did not even Heidi: "Yerebatan" the great underground cistern. Over 300 columns (my guess is 30m high ... no idea ...) You can then pass through a dead end. Everything is illuminated red, the bottom is water (in which huge I carp swim - we thought the same on Christmas;)) and comes to music. Ne really great atmosphere!
Then we went to the Blue Mosque. There is a larger, Hagia Sophia, but that one had to first pay admission (palace, and cisterns had been asked a lot) and also wanted in this weather all the tourists go there, so we opted for the second largest mosque in the city, but from Hagia Sophia I'm still a picture - quite naturally, the love Heidi posing on ... ;)

The fact that we had to take off our shoes in the mosque, did not necessarily mean that Heidi's feet dry again, so we made our first back on the path to Tobi and Netti.
Later that evening we had dinner with Tobi in a snack - typically türkisch, mal wieder kein Plan, wie es hieß, aber echt lecker!

After breakfast
tried to organize Heidi and I then our return trip on Sunday evening. That was harder than expected, as the buses drove a different route on the way back, so for me finally said: Heidi up to Ruse and then back to VT. Well, it could have been worse.
Then we made something that is not to be missed: Shopping at the Istanbul bazaar. Heidi was looking for a bedspread for her bed in her apartment in Ruse, I spied great tapestries and both of us in turn was a nice young salesman in "his" road, then turn us into a "his" Shops in a street led, finally, where we spent almost 2.5 hours. The guy was really nice, but it was difficult to deal with it ... no matter, the fun and the memories were worth the money, which Heidi and I were there. The whole conversation started already incredibly funny with the following records:
seller (in Heidi garment): You have beautiful blue eyes.
seller (me robe): Both of you.
Heidi and I had previously heard this saying more than once and turned his eyes in sync, after which the seller curled with laughter and almost finally said that he had never met such honest and likeable German, which man alles, was sie denken, im Gesicht ablesen könnte.
Very funny that almost all of them from Berlin to study at the Viadrina was! Accidents are `s. .. Later we went then to the club "Haymatlos", was played in the live music. Again a resounding success ...

The last day in Istanbul. This time Heidi had read nearly 100 pages, when I woke up ...
As it was already quite late when we left the house, we decided that we want to round off our visit with a trip to the Asian side of the city. Oddly enough, the Asian side seemed more European than the European one! But it's worth every visit! Above all, a wonderful place to shop;)
Here are some impressions of the crossing ...
left to right: Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace
bridge over the Bosphorus
port and terminal station on the Asian side of the city
And do not forget: Beautiful blue eyes, both of you ! ;)
Well, and then the weekend in Istanbul was already over! Far too little time for this city, because I will absolutely go back there!
On the way back it was still really funny ... got to 4 o'clock in the morning with an old lady that Heidi may be a bit Bulgarsich and then they had to answer the questions of who we are, what we make about where we want, etc. In the end, the entire bus was aware of us know:)
Two theories had already spread to the conversation among us about the travelers: first
We are Romanians and have something sold in Istanbul!
second We are German, arriving from unknown reason on Turkey to Bulgaria ...
Even a very fun-loving people that Bulgarians and they also have a lot of imagination!
So, for today my mood Add an end ...
I greet you all were very nice and I hope that you have a good time, in everything you do just that!
